“The adrift at sea feeling is gone”

“In all the noise of 'brand coaching' your approach has clarity and simplicity of heart and mind.

My favourite part of working with you was that I really liked being with you. Your presence is calming while asking deep and sometimes difficult questions. I keep repeating the word 'deep' to describe your work, but it's the most appropriate. Working with you is enlightening - I feel a weight of ‘not knowing’ lifted off.

There's always been a little empty space in talking about my business that I wasn't quite sure what was missing. Now I know the values from which my business decisions are made and how I operate. You're a midwife for values! The adrift at sea feeling is gone, it's really incredible. I now have a touchstone. I have a Notion document and our conversation that I can refer to when my brain gets overloaded and fears set in. I also have a sense of calm that I hadn't expected. I thought I'd feel anxious to implement and change everything. But I don't. I feel grounded and can integrate what I now know in a thoughtful manner, at a pace I can control, and that is so liberating.

Since working with you, I've noticed a shift in recent client calls. I'm also setting aside time to work on the purely creative, exhibition type ideas I have had and other projects I had never considered but am feeling pretty jazzed about. I always thought of these things as separate from the business, but see now they aren't. The value vessels of my business permeate other places. I see the work we did together has having a long life. I appreciate that. I look forward to weaving it into my existence.

Connect with Alice if you are at a place to really examine who, what, and why you do what you do. Don't expect fluff. Be prepared for answers and outcomes that may surprise you. Come with trust. Alice knows what she is doing.”

Behind the scenes

Lynda needed a deep look at who she is, what she does, and why. She was in the process of developing a new website and restructuring her services.

We unearthed her values and answered deep, existential questions about her work that led to a few tears shed on both sides. We identified her big vision and – as one does, among artists – spoke about the look and feel of her new purpose.

Lynda does exquisite work with the flowers that mean so much to us. I think of her every time I see a flower now. Which is often.
